Como parte de los premios a lo mejor en tecnologí­a del año 2009, infoworld a elegido a Oracle 11g como la mejor
base de datos. Como lo ha dicho infoworld el premio es por las caracterí­sticas de este motor que antes solo eran soñadas por los Dba's.

InfoWorld: "Incomparable" Oracle Database 11g is the hands-down winner

InfoWorld has chosen Oracle Database 11g as the top database for 2009 in its recently published 2009 Technology of the Year Awards. According to Doug Dineley, executive editor of the InfoWorld Test Center, "our prize for Best Database went to the incomparable Oracle Database 11g, a titanic release with capabilities—namely Real Application Testing and Active Data Guard—that DBAs previously could only dream about."
